An interview with Porn Actress Lilith Fyre

SWAG: Which sex work field are you in/were you in? For how long have you been in this field?

Lilith: I have been involved in almost everything!! Like peep shows, stripping, go-go dancing, video/photo adult shoots, escorting, phone sex, Domination....I have been in the industry for almost 13 years now in some way, shape or form.

SWAG: What is your preferred job title?

Lilith: Porn actress.

SWAG: How did you decide which type of sex work was right for you?

Lilith: By literally trying all of them, pushing my limits and goals. I get bored easily, so I go to the next level. I love to be challenged and try new things. The adult industry is something I really ejoy and like, as I just do not enjoy more 'mundane' (to me anyway!) career choices.

SWAG: How did you find your job?

Lilith: A major talent agency for the adult industry contacted me and asked me if I would like to work with them. I checked them out and am now working with them exclusively.

SWAG: Briefly describe your working environment – office, home, agency, Incall place, street corner, brothel, etc.

Lilith: Varies from shoot to shoot - sometimes it's a set inside, a nice beach scene outside, a forest, an office, hotel, things like that.

SWAG: How do most clients find you and/or book an appointment with you?

Lilith: They find me through my agent, if they find me elsewhere I always direct them to her to negotiate travel, payment, etc.

SWAG: Tell us a bit about what your job involves.

Lilith: Three things: Travel, sex, and travel!!

SWAG: What is an 'average' appointment/session/call for you?

Lilith: Average shoot is a B/G (swag: boy/girl) scene, then a B/G/G (swag: boy/girl/girl) scene or G/G (swag: girl/girl) scene, then maybe a group/threesome.

SWAG: What's your weirdest client/session/call/request?

Lilith: Someone wanted me to do a DP with vegetables, not really shocking just somewhat weird to me...I turned it down.

SWAG: What do you charge/get paid?

Lilith: My agent works out those details. ;)

SWAG: What do you like most about your job?

Lilith: The travel and the variety....no two shoots are ever the same.

SWAG: What do you like least?

Lilith: Rigorous schedules can suck, as well as working with someone you dislike. Also the sex is not like 'normal sex', it's difficult to be always hot and ready when you have a director telling you to face the camera or open your legs wider.

SWAG: What would you like people to know about your work?

Lilith: Well, people assume porn stars are stupid - granted alot are, but an educated woman in porn can go far. We are also not all addicts, nymphos, and casting-couch rejects. Alot of us choose what we do, and yes, there are always drawbacks to ALL choices. You just have to learn how to deal with them correctly and constructively, learn from it.

SWAG: If you could go back in time, and tell yourself one thing just as you were getting started in sex work, what would it be?

Lilith: SAVE YOUR MONEY!! Oh, I cannot stress that enough!! NEVER assume that because you made 1K today you call blow it all on Prada because tomorrow you will make it right back - TRUST ME, you won't!

One idea is...at the beginning of each month, put aside envelopes for all your bills...and add to it each day. Include a 'play' and a 'save me' envelope. Put almost all your money into the bill envelopes FIRST until they are all 'paid'....then you can play. ;)

Also, get a trade!! I don't care if it is being a secretary or a MD....you will need it one day, and you do not want that 'day' to come when you are unprepared. Always depend upon YOU, and not others. Prince Charming may come along but he may not be as charming as he seems. Be confident and self-sufficient. One other thing: always remember that YOU are in control, and YOU can say 'no'. Never forget that. (sorry that was three things!!!).
