How to use Review Boards to your Advantage

I know it's hard to believe but they can be your friends...

First it is important to find out about the local review boards in your area and the larger boards abroad.
(check out our link department for listings)
Most boards allow you to become a registered member for free. This usually gives you acess to a forum which will include general topics as well as reviews on providers and their services. Browse around read some of the reviews. This will give you a general idea of the tone of the review board. Make no mistake...There are boards out there that are NOT positive toward sex work or providers. Best to just steer clear of those and focus on the more postive of the bunch.

Advertise on the Board
Many of these board have a escort directory that you can list in for a fee. Some may offer the listing for free. Depends on the boards and there are often free trials available for new advertisers. So get your self listed. In your listing provide a bit about yourself, your contact info and a photo(s).

Introduce Yourself
Introduce yourself in the advertisers/escorts section. Tell a little bit about who you are, your contact info, your stats and services. Be prepared for tons or private messages, emails and telephone calls. Your are the new kid on the block so everyone is interested. Ride that wave and meet as many clients as you can during the time. It won't last forever, only until the next hot thing comes along.

Mind Your P's and Q's
What I mean by this is it can be make or break time for you in the beginning. Make sure not to double book or no show. Provide consistant good service and be kind and curtious to your clients. This is your coming out. Client will be racing each other to review the new girl and the more positive things they have to say about you, the more client will want to see you. It is your opportunity to start your business off on a really great foot.

Don't get involved in Board Drama
Best advice I got as a newbie is just don't get involved. Stay out of the crap as much as you possibly can. Whether you have a strong opinion or not it is somtimes better to hold your tongue. If by chance you get involved in the drama without trying or are being attacked on a board do your best to deal in a professional fashion. Coming back with insults and swearing never gets anyone anywhere. What is that saying..."Kill um' with kindness." Oh yes do just that.

Bad Reviews
We all get a bad review at one time or another. Whether it was just an off day for you or the guy was just a real jerk. Remember nobody can be perfect all the time. Though sometimes that words that reviewers right can sting take it with a grain of salt. For that one jerk there are plenty of others who adore you. I promise, in a few days it will be on page 4 and nobody will care anyway. Just make sure that you are providing the best service, attitude and truthful advertisting and you will be fine!

Setting a "No Review Policy"
Some providers set up an NRP to prevent clients from reviewing their session on any of these boards. Though some boards do attempt to honour the NRP others do not. If you are serious about not being reviewed make sure that you make that very clear to your client. Hopefully they are the gentlemen that we all know then to be and they avoid kissing and telling.

Meet Other Workers
I have found the boards to be a great place to meet other providers. Creating more of a community. It is always nice to have someone to talk to who is in the same place you are. So talk to other members workers or not. Make friends and created a support network for yourself.

If you still can't stand them: Just don't Logon!
