About Us

We are small organization with limited resources and based solely on volunteers. Despite these factors SWAG tries to communicate our subject matter through non-judgmental information utilizing a peer education model. In addition, SWAG members will be glad to help answering questions from clients, politicians, professionals and the media to the best of our ability.

SWAGs mission is to assist female, male, transsexual and transgendered individuals engaging in sex work in leading healthy vibrant lives. SWAG believes in every individual's right to health, well-being and their right to use their bodies as they see fit to earn a living. We are also committed to providing support to assist current and potential sex workers to protect and help themselves, their loved ones, and their communities. In doing this we hope to inspire others to contribute their stories and information so that their knowledge will be spread throughout the community.

We do not limit our definitions of sex work. We welcome and support everyone from cam show performers to street walkers to bar girls and phone sex operators. If your job involves sex... you may be a sex worker! If you write about sex you may be a sex work educator.

SWAG aims to provide more than a site for links but resources and writings from sex workers and their clients for sex workers and their clients.

SWAG recognizes that as a group of volunteers we are currently all women and provide resources for women. To the best of our ability we will provide information, resources and links to serve male, transsexual and transgendered individuals engaging in sex work and welcome input.

Our site can only be as good as our contributors. If you are a current, past or future sex worker (or the client of any of the above) please send us your articles your resources and your links. We value your input.
